Welcome to our first blog entry and to the eBoost sales consulting website!
The very year eBoost Consulting started its business in sales, it wasn't long when clients came along asking about its sales services. As the first client cases began, it quickly became evident that there were no easy way to increasing sales; it simply came down to the fundamental principles of selling.
All of you who have been in sales know instinctively that there is no magic trick in getting your clientele and sales process up and running. It simply takes hard work - and having a smile while you do it over and over and over again. Some call this having the right attitude. Some are born with the skills and some not. In my opinion, everyone is a salesman whether they want it or not. You represent yourself or any other entity and you are selling something - ideas, products, your brand etc. However, sales comes down to a process that, when learned, needs to be repeated. It takes great effort and time to hone your sales skills to perfection - perhaps our short crash course will give you a jump start:
Sales 101:
1. market research
2. consistent lead generation
3. quality prospecting
4. persistent cold calling
5. sales calls with end goal in mind
6. making business critical offers
7. asking for the sale
8. after sales customer care
Sure, without going into any further detail, there are many ways how one can describe the sales process (sales funnel) - this is just one way and with more complex products, environments and markets, the sales process evolves with it bringing cross-selling and other aspects to the simple sales process. Salesmen are the champions and life line of every company that exists. They do the hard work in order to keep the factory or production running. Without sales 101 aka very hard repetitive work, there is no prosperity, industry, progress or even well-being. So make sure you treat your sales people right and also that you find the sales person that understands and consistently applies the basics of sales and proven best practices. Find more about the sales 101 process and principles and start your company's path to success and growth - eBoost Consulting will be publishing its blog and adding informational packets and white papers on interesting sales trends and principles.
